I love the Entertainment Book, but I really hate paying full price. I prefer to wait until the books have been discounted. This year, it seems the prices were cut awfully early. Not that I’m complaining!
Books are currently marked down by 50 percent, which means they’re just $17.50. Quite a deal! If you use two of the restaurant coupons, you will have saved more than you spent on the book.
I plan to use at least a couple of the coupons to local attractions, like some cool miniature golf courses at some local arcades. (Yes, I really am that geeky.) As a bonus, it will let us affordably explore some local restaurants.
So if you were on the fence about the Entertainment Book, I would encourage you to invest in one with this new, low price.
If you’ve already bought one and have found a bunch of useful coupons, now’s the time to get a few extra books. That way you can get more discounted meals out or tickets to local attractions or whatever it is you use them for.
Incidentally, if you want extra cash back (and who doesn’t?) sign up for Mr. Rebates to get 35 percent cash back. That’s $5.95 you’ll get back. Added to the $5 you get for signing up, you’ll have over $10.95 in your account, which is enough to request a check. That means a final price of ng $6.55 for new Mr. Rebates customers and $11.55 for existing ones. Either way, those are some savings to be proud of!
Now I’m off to buy one myself!

Never been a coupon guy myself. I don't really buy "stuff" often. I just eat food.

Restaurants (including fast food) are a HUGE number of the coupons. Plus some books have grocery store coupons for things like $5 off $50.
Still, to each his own… It's just helped Tim and I dine out a lot. Or for fast food, when Tim's craving a burger, since I don't eat red meat.

The entertainment book is great. We've purchased them before and it pays for itself many times over because of the restaurant deals.
Also, don't feel geeky for going to the local arcade. I'm over 30 and I have used the coupons to buy batting cage tokens for myself.
