Flashdrives make great swag and I also like the idea of the reusable bag that can compress into a pouch. Smaller is better--especially with airline carry-on bag limits. My plumber gave it to me - it has their logo on it. I clipped it onto my key ring and have actually found many occasions to use it. Pens and cute small notebooks are fun to get and I second @LittleMissMoneybags...not crappy bic-style pens. I have one of those reusable bags that stuff into an attached pouch. That is so useful. I had to buy it at the grocery store though (has their name on it) but I think it was only $.99, or maybe $1.99.
