Even as the sun streams through our windows and the temperatures hover over 100 degrees, here in Arizona we’re still getting ready for the holiday season. Right now it’s Halloween, which means in the blink of an eye we’ll be staring down Santas and guilt-inducing ads.
So I’ve officially ramped up my search for affordable gifts. Amazon Daily Deals are always great — I scooped up a great one for a family member the other day. (I’d say more, but they read this blog.)
And the other day, I got a great deal for my cousin’s kids through my newest social buying site, Jasmere.com.
A site called Kidlandia (which is awesome, by the way) lets your child customize a wall hanging, scroll or even jigsaw puzzle by creating a land of his or her very own. The prices weren’t bad, so my cousin should be able to use the voucher to get each of her boys a wall hanging for less than $15 plus shipping.
But that was then.
Today’s deal is not only cheaper, but has more widespread appeal. (Although, really, who doesn’t want his or her own kingdom?)
Jasmere is currently offer a $40 voucher to Bonbon Charms. The site features a variety of charms and necklaces, starting as low as $10, You can choose from pictures, initials or other personalizations.
The thing that makes Jasmere.com unique is that the price can actually drop (– and has, see the update at the bottom of this post!). The more people who buy, the lower the price gets. No one is charged anything until the price is finalized. So you can buy early or late.
But even if the price doesn’t change — and the necklaces are quite lovely, so I suspect it will — your $40 voucher could buy up to four gifts.
Unfortunately, shipping isn’t covered by the voucher, so that does add $7 to the total price. Still, that’s $25 for up to 4 unique, personalized gifts.
How cool — and frugal — is that?!
I especially like the “Sugar Drop” necklace, which runs $16. One of the best values, I think, are the Vintage Print charms. These are usually $15, which is a good price to begin with, but right now, they’re on sale for $12.
Those prices mean you could get a Sugar Drop and two Vintage Print necklaces without going over your allotted $40. So all three necklaces would cost $25, including shipping. That’s just over $8 each!
Go check out this deal before it’s over — the deal resets tomorrow, September 8th at 9 a.m. Pacific.

UPDATE: Thanks to the popularity of this offer, the price has already dropped to $16, with 17+ hours to go. The more people pounce on the opportunity, the cheaper it will get!
