The good people at Swagbucks were psyched to see my story about Swagbucks saving me $275. So psyched, in fact, that they offered to do a giveaway for me.

So the winner of this giveaway will get to choose any $25 gift card on the Swagbucks site.Or if you prefer, you can just take the 2,500 SBs to spend later.

They were also nice enough to give me my own nifty sign-up code, good for the rest of the month.

Any of you folks who haven’t signed up to Swagbucks yet can get an extra 70 SBs with the code IPUPLOVESSB. That’s a total of 100 SBs just for opening an account.  Which means you start off 1/5 of the way to your first $5 reward.

Swagbucks, one of my absolute favorites! Except when the site doesn't reward me for viewing the videos that should net some points. That makes me sad.

Yeah, that makes me sad too. If I have too much trouble, I contact customer service. They’re usually pretty good about it. And it’s pretty rare for me not to get credited for one of the videos. I wish they’d bring the Cheetos/Minions ones back!

That's so cool! It's great to hear that you're getting a well deserved windfall, and that the amount is such that it can make the worry about the Roku boxes balance out. I hope your good fortune continues- the way you write, and the way you respond to people on your blog shows a good head, and more importantly a great heart. You face the ravages of an illness that can make people run and hide with a level of class and wisdom that can get through anything, and you still have a sense of humor, and enough moxy to get through it still standing. That's rare to find, and a joy to read, so yay for Swagbucks. They've got great taste.

Can you just come live with us and say nice things about me all day? I think I could find money in the budget for that!

But seriously, I’m thrilled that Swagbucks wants to help out bloggers so much, and I’m glad that it’ll enable me to offer readers a chance at a reward. Good luck!

Unfortunately, Arizona is a baaaaaaad place when your chronic illness is aggrivated by UV exposure. That, and the guy calls dibs- he's holding me to the promise of ribs on his birthday next week. However, I will continue to lurk and cheer you on.

I would imagine that's not even remotely optimal. Are you actually in AZ? I didn't think you were. Hope he enjoys the ribs. Always good to have a meal of choice on your birthday.

California. We are seriously considering WA or BC after he finishes his last bit of degree work. Fortunately, we're in the northern part of the state- so I can go out with some precautions. UV blocking clothing, sunscreen, a good hat, sunglasses, and closed toed shoes. For Halloween, I just add a scarf and instant Invisable Man costume! As for the rib dinner- I think it's why he keeps me around. He seriously can't cook but over the years we've been together my family and I have gotten him to realize home cooking is better than boxes or drive through.

Ach, I miss Seattle! I adapted to the AZ sun better than I thought, but I miss our friends there. And one of our AZ friends just moved there. If only the humidity didn’t wreck Tim’s skin. But I also really liked BC when I visited.Higher taxes but, you know, healthcare.
