Black Friday is officially over, but most stores still have a whole weekend of savings ahead.
Those of you who follow me on Facebook know the deals I scored on Thursday. But for the rest of you:
Sears: Two pairs of thermal shirts ($9.99 each), two pairs of thermal leggings ($9.99 each) and on pair of Wolverine microfleece lounging pants ($21.99). I used a $10 discount plus $12.23 in store rewards for a total of $41.67 after tax. If I get cash back through Mr. Rebates — either the coupon or rewards may kill it — I’ll save another $2.
Kohl’s: Four more pairs of microfleece pants ($14.99-19.20) plus a 15% discount. After cash back, I’ll pay $56.34. I also walked away with $15 in Kohl’s cash. That’ll probably go toward a nightgown for Nadine (her present request).
Walgreens: On Friday night, I took advantage of the 25% discount at Walgreens — and the 12% cash back at Extrabux. I got coma-grade boring stuff, just toiletries really. But I got an eight-pack of razor blades, two boxes of floss, some toothpaste and some acne treatment for $43.07 after cash back.
I realize that this maybe the most dull Black Friday haul ever. On the other hand, $43.42 is going into my Saved Savings account. That part is pretty exciting.
I ended up skipping the Tupperware at Walmart. When I say “skipped” I mean “forgot.” But one makes me sound more frugal than the other so… I may still jump on Amazon’s 30% code BOOKDEAL. It’s one book per account, but it would still save a few bucks.
A certain someone I know has a penchant for graphic novels. I won’t say who, but his name starts with a T and rhymes with “him.” Tackle that puzzle if you dare!
How was your guys’ Thanksgivings? What did/will you buy this monochrome Friday? Are you braving the stores this weekend? Anything you’re going to pounce on for Cyber Monday?
