You guys know me: I love my cash back sites; so I’m always excited to find out about a new one. Enter DollarDig!
It’s a relatively new site, having been around for just two and a half years, but it’s already gained a pretty devoted following, if the reviews on Cashbackaholic.com are any indication.
DollarDig credits itself as “the most reliable cashback site on the Web.”
Being the inquisitive gal that I am, I asked what made it so reliable. Here was the response from the owner, Rich:
“I strive to make sure my users are happy, from following up with them on inquiries (as opposed to them following up with me), making sure I respond to support within 24 hours (usually within 3-4 hours), and even going so far as to tell them about other ways they can save money (sometimes, even when it means turning away business on my end). I love helping people save money.”
Let’s break this down:
- I love the idea of having someone follow up with me. I don’t want to say that I’m easily distracted or forgetful but I– Squirrel! Wait… what squirrel? But seriously, we all have a lot going on in our lives — and some of us have overactive spam filters. It’s reassuring to know that the company will check back in case the email didn’t reach us or we forget to reply.
- I really love hearing back quickly. (Still waiting for a response from an email I sent my Internet provider five days ago. Grumble, grumble.) I often put things off until the last minute, so I definitely appreciate a fast reply.
- I absolutely love companies that look out for my best interest, even if it costs them a little in the short term. Because that kind of honesty and customer care means that I’ll be back and happily make them money in the future.
- Another nice thing? Payment requests have a very short turnaround time. Request payment by PayPal or Dwolla (an online payment option similar to PayPal), and you’ll usually receive your money in about a day. That’s faster than any other site I’ve looked at!
Of course, in the end, I’m a fan of options. I like having multiple cash back sites to make sure I get the best bang for my buck — so adding Dollar Dig to the repertoire makes me happy. (I guess I like cash back sites vying for my monetary affection! And a $5 sign-up bonus doesn’t hurt either.)
While there are many out cash back sites out there, I limit myself to only a few. First of all, you only want to do so much percentage comparing. But more importantly, it matters which companies you choose to work with. I like DollarDig‘s policies and attitude, so I’m happy to add it to the list of sites I use and recommend.
As you may know, I’m very picky about which sponsored posts I take. In this case, I actually contacted the site myself. So this isn’t a recommendation that comes just from a financial opportunity.
Speaking of financial opportunity… You’re probably wondering when I’m going to finally spill the beans on this giveaway. Well, I appreciate your patience:
Dollar Dig is giving away* a $100 Amazon gift card! Ten more people will get Dollar Dig t-shirt! (Yeah, it’s not a $100 GC but… free stuff!)
Also amazing: Dollar Dig will give away $100 to the cause of our choosing. I’ll put a few ideas into a poll, but feel free to vote for something in the comments. Whichever cause gets the most votes will receive the $100 donation.
The contest will end Friday the 25th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. Be sure to enter!
