With the start of a new month, it’s time once again to urge people to sign up for Swagbucks — this time, for (extra) free money.
Anyone who signs up in October just needs to earn 300 points called SB by the end of the month to get a 300 SB bonus. In other words, just a little bit of work can double your efforts. It also means that $3 worth of Swagbucks will get you to your first $5 GC with points to spare!
If you haven’t heard of Swagbucks then you’re missing out. It’s a fun, easy way to build up points toward free gift cards or to PayPal payments.
You earn points with searches, watching videos, taking surveys and more. Install the browser button, and you’ll never miss the daily swagcode (worth 2 to 5 SB) or cash back shopping opportunity. It also makes it easier to use the Swagbucks search feature!
Currently, we’re socking away SB for my coveted grown-up TV stand. Almost the entire $400 price tag will be covered by Swagbucks-earned GCs.
In the past, we’ve used gift cards to get everything from the frivolous to the practical. We’ve redeemed for gaming consoles, video games, collectibles, apparel, protein bars, razors, cat litter and a ton of other stuff that I’ve forgotten — because there’s just so much of it. In six years we’ve “spent” thousands of dollars without paying a cent!
And if for some reason that doesn’t convince, know that Swagbucks is just plain fun. Earning points becomes a game, trying to figure out how to best wring SB from your activities. There’s the challenge of the (optional) daily goal, which will net you bonus SB at the start of the following month.
Or go the more low-key route and just use it for searches and daily swagcodes. Even with that minimal effort you’ll be surprised how the points add up!
In short, it’s fun, easy and rewarding. That’s why it may seem like I never shut up about Swagbucks on here. I genuinely believe that people can really benefit from — and have fun with — Swagbucks.
I know many of you have heeded my advice and joined over the years. Still, I know there are stragglers out there, and to you I say: Now is the time to act. So sign up using this link and get working on those first 300 SB. You’ll be glad you did!
